Dr. Alejandro López

One of my main responsibilities is to act as an interface between our group, its suppliers, users and collaborators. I give support in the areas of materials synthesis and analysis, tribo-mechanical testing, surface analysis, electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and ICP spectroscopy. I also provide scientific/technical consulting services to local and international companies as well as manage our laboratory, and source supplies and equipment. I am the co-inventor of a bone cement softener, which is currently underway to commercialization by Inossia AB.
