Estefanía Echeverri Correa

I am a PhD student and a member of the NU-Spine Network. I work on the biological response to spinal implants, with special focus on the effects of its wear and corrosion products. I am especially interested in developing an improved in vitro model to better evaluate tissue response and to acquire an understanding of the interaction of biological tissues with different biomaterials.
