VISITING PhD STUDENT: Margarida Pacheco
Hi, I am a PhD student at i3Bs Research Group from the University of Minho, Portugal. I am working on biodegradable metals for ureteral stent’s applications, namely the exploitation of their degradation rate and propensity to encrustation under in vitro urinary tract environment, as well as studying their antibacterial activity. The main aim of my PhD is the development of a biodegradable metallic ureteral stent.
