Project Course in Micro- and Nanotechnology, 10 credits (1TE072)

Development and research projects both in industry and at the university is most often a collaboration where persons add there diffrent compentenses. In this course you get the chance to collaborate in a team and to develop, design, manufacture and evaluate your own component. There are opportunities to go deeper into the areas that suits your intrests and your profile and you will need to apply knowledge from many different areas and earlier courses in physics, technology and chemistry. The team develop their own construction and make a manufacturing plan needed for the component. When the component is ready, it will be evaluated and the experimental results will be compared to the specifications and simulations done during the design phase. The course Micro- and Nano Technology I is a pre-request. Project meetings and seminars are used instead of traditional teaching.
