The research project "GreenWaterTech" coordinated by Prof. Lars Österlund
has been granted a grant of approximately 1.4 mEuro from Formas within the framework of
AquaticPollutants ERA.NET Joint Transnational Call along with
partners from SLU, the Czech Republic (IIC-CAS, Uni. J.E. Purkyne) and France
(ENSL, and CNRS / IRCELYON) for research and demonstration of modular
ultrafiltration of water with LED-coupled UV-A optical fibers coated
with semiconductor metal oxides, nanoadsorbent materials and enzymatic
methods. -
6 miljon grant to research on metal halid perovskites
The project "Properties in exited state and connection between charge carriers and phonons in metal halid perovskites" have been granted 6 million from the Swedish Research Council and the Swedish Energy Agency's call for sustainable energy systems.

Within the PECSYS Project, we, Uppsala University and Solibro Research AB, developed a thermally integrated photovoltaic (PV)-electrolysis device made up of a CuInGaSe (CIGS) photovoltaic module and a FeNiOH (cathode)-FeNiOH (anode)-based alkaline electrolyser.
